About the Name

The name of this tie top is in honor of my professor’s late wife, Olga Roche and their incredible commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders.

After a successful career in corporate America, he came to understand the importance of long-term decision-making—centered on empowering people and protecting the planet. He realized that short-term approaches to business not only harm communities and the environment but also fail to represent smart or sustainable leadership.

Motivated by this insight, he returned to school to earn his PhD, dedicating himself to teaching the next generation of business leaders—leaders who will help create a better world for his grandchildren.

His support, mentorship, and belief in me have been truly transformational. This collection is dedicated to him and to his late wife. Thank you both for paving the way toward a more just and hopeful future.
